The Frontline Operator
 

  • Role Overview: AEs serve as the institutional scouts and frontline interviewers for VenturePOST. Tasked with securing and executing high-level interviews with founders, C-suite executives, IHL innovators, and civil servants, AEs represent the publication across Singapore and regional ecosystems.
     

  • Core Responsibilities:
     

  1. Sourcing & Pipeline Execution: To ensure immediate operational momentum, a pre-vetted Databank of Interview Targets will be provided upon onboarding. However, operators are expected and encouraged to source, pitch, and develop their own proprietary interview pipelines within 3 months of appointment. 
     

  2. Desk Specialization & Topic Pitching: Maintain active focus across a maximum of 2 Core Desks (Tech, Social, School, Leadership, Civil Servants in Transition), actively pitching proprietary story angles and topic expansions within your beats.
     

  3. Editorial Production: Conduct structured intake calls, execute interviews, manage recordings/transcripts, and draft high-impact pieces adhering strictly to VenturePOST house style and pre-clearance rules.
     

  4. Strict Commercial Boundary Control: AEs act as scouts, not aggressive sales closers. AEs must maintain the integrity of the Chinese Wall: commercial advisory packages (Tiers 2–4) may never be discussed or pitched during an editorial interview or prior to publication. 
     

  5. Compensation, Honorarium & Governance:
     

  • Initial Honorarium: A flat honorarium per published article is paid to the operator for their first 6 successfully published articles.
     

  • Commission Split (Post-Honorarium / Advisory): 40% of Gross Profit (GP) on any commercial advisory, accounting, or tier conversion (Tiers 2–4) sourced through the AE's pipeline and formally closed by VMPL management.

Senior
Editor

  • Role Overview: Senior Editors are the tactical backbone of the publication. Promoted from top-performing AEs, an SE manages a dedicated squad of at least 3 and up to 7 Associate Editors, overseeing interview quality, desk coordination, and pipeline velocity.  SEs report directly to the Editor-in-Chief
     

  • Core Responsibilities:
     

  1. Squad Leadership: Manage, mentor, and direct a squad of 3 to 7 AEs, reviewing drafts before final editorial sign-off to ensure absolute factual accuracy and protection against liability.
     

  2. Pipeline Oversight: Oversee the transition of squad members from utilizing the master Interview Databank into building independent, self-sustaining proprietary pipelines within their first 90 days.
     

  3. Multi-Desk Oversight & Strategy: Maintain verified expertise across up to a maximum of 5 Core Desks, coordinating desk topic pipelines and editorial output across squads.
     

  4. Quality & Compliance Enforcement: Ensure all published pieces and AE interactions strictly respect the Chinese Wall separating editorial content from commercial tiers, strictly preventing any pay-to-play perception.
     

  5. Pipeline Acceleration: Oversee squad compliance with commercial introduction protocols, ensuring leads are cleanly handed off to management without compromising editorial integrity.
     

  • Compensation, Honorarium & Governance:
     

  • Initial Honorarium: Eligible for honorarium per published article for initial personal article execution during foundational ramp-up (up to first 6 articles).
     

  • Direct Sourced Split: 45% of GP on direct closures overriding GP on all commercial conversions generated by your 7-member AE squad.
